The Little Monster

These are a couple pictures I have taken over the last couple days. Mack is so funny. He has way too much personality!!! He loves to yell at me when he is bored. ugh. He fell asleep in Cody's arms and just started smiling up a storm. I had to snap a picture! Sad that we don't have a video camera... I need to craigslist one.

Organ Rejection

I check Woot.com and shirt.woot.com every day. Its an addiction. Today this little gem of a shirt made me laugh out loud. Would I ever buy this shirt? - no, probably not. I wouldn't want to offend anyone. so I will just post it on my blog and laugh.

It happened again last night...

Oh Cody. I love you, really I do but...


I hate middle of the night you. True, sometimes I am entertained by the fact that you hit on me in your sleep, but regardless, you still wake me up. Last night was no different. At least last night was just a night where you silently TRIED to seduce me, unlike the last time this happened when you threw off my covers and then quietly said "perfect opportunity." Oh funny Cody, you need to teach your multiple personalities what you learned early in our marriage... when you wake up Tracy, regardless of what time it is, you will in no way get lucky.

Fascination with Pet Peeves.

For the most part me and Cody are super easy going people. Sometimes I wished that we fought more, just for the sport of it. ..seriously sometimes you just need a good fight to spice things up! As it happens to be though we are both extremely boring. Not much fighting, or getting upset... just hanging out. For this reason sometimes I like to focus on things that make us super annoyed. Might sound strange, but I like seeing things that make Code mad sometimes.. as I’m sure the same goes for him. ALSO I think the things that annoy us also says a lot about us. For this reason I have decided to list mine and Cody’s classic Pet Peeves. I would love to hear all of your pet peeves. Lay them on me!!..

slow mergers
fuzzy television
movies about humans ruining the earth
Overly protective/overbearing mothers (*disclaimer* neither of Cody’s mother figures fit this category)
people that say something in 20 minutes that should have taken 20 seconds

Rae’s
wreaths/bows on cars (mostly in the holiday season)
not enough peanuts in a snickers bar
cars at the front of the line who are ignorant to the green light (esp. in the turning lane!!)
hair on the soap. (especially blond/white hair that is camouflage that acts as a booby trap *ahem* Deanna)
people who think that eating expired dairy products is okay. shnasty.
Talk radio. (I still love you Cody)

sad day.

Sad day. (well, two days ago really.) Michael Jackson died. Despite his later freaky years, he was extremely talented! There is one huge question that remains in my head though. What was this need to be white!? Seriously!!.. Didn’t that piss all the black people off? AND What about his song ‘it don’t matter if your black or white?’ Come on Michael, practice what you preach! And as if anyone would believe he was white, even if he didn’t end up looking freaky weird – what white guy can dance like Micheal? No one..
BTW I was looking up and watching all his music videos and I audibly laughed throughout all of them. Ah, amazing 80’s videos!

Aspen Grove

This trip was our second trip to Utah this month. We (Arnold family) had a family reunion up at Aspen Grove. We do this family reunion every other year in turn with Canada. I've never fully appreciated Aspen Grove until this year... They have amazing day care!!! (which I took full advantage of) they have groups for teens/kids/babies. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my baby.. But it was fantastic being able to drop him off at 9 and then pick him up at 3. It was like I had a job, except I did nothing but paint in the craft lodge, shuffleboard (Yes I am old), played on my g pa's golf simulator, wally balled and more board games that I can count.
Now I am sad because I have to wait 2 more years to go back:(
AND I am doubley sad because I am needing to register for my fall semester, but avoiding it like the plague.

Side note: I don't think this baby is mine. HELLO CODY!!! how are ALL of your genes strong enough to dominate all of mine. This is your mini me..

This video of Mack is a month or so old, but I couldn't resist posting it. This was in Park City Utah. How cute is my fat little man!? It seems like he is growing so fast. He is now laughing and is serisouly the happiest baby in the world. I can't get enough of his sassy little personality!! I am loving not having school this summer. It is so fun just to focus on being a mom, and enjoying my little boy.

Memorial day

We, like so many others, celebrated the glorious holiday of Memorial day with a barbecue. The food was delicious and Mack had his first real experience with the pool. He didn't love, or hate the pool.. staying true to his overall relaxed personality. I think he will like it in a few more weeks when the water gets a little warmer!!

Deliciousness

This weekend was pretty crazy. My sister in law Chelsea got married and is now Mrs. Jacobsen. Jocoby and Chelsea are such a perfect couple.. I couldnt have imagined a better guy for her. The week was full of wedding fun and trying to adjust to being out of school (I HATE the fact that I feel guilty all day because I am not doing school work!!! hellooo.. what is that about - i suffered through last semester to get to this point but now I can't enjoy it.. HELP!)anyway amidst all the craziness I found time to make these delicious cinnamon rolls while watching charley and the chocolate factory..
I have probably seen that movie 50 times. I am still trying to decide which version I like better ~~ the old movie has much better umpa lumpas and overall I THINK i have decided i like the music better (minus the horrible cheer up charley song that I have probably only seen once because I always fast forward it) ~~ The new movie has my johny, who is amazing, AND is paired with ridiculous amounts of Candy.. hello fantasy. Plus i think its just overall much more vibrant and exciting.. I still don't know.
I guess i will just have to watch the movie 50 more times to reach my final decision. Twist my arm.

school?.. I don't think so

School is finally over and I feel like I can breathe again!!! - Not that I have any room to complain, BUT i will anyway.. school blows. Now if Cody could just finish his last two finals life would be great! A lot has happened these last couple weeks but don't worry my blogging friends I will catch you up in due time.. for starters Mack was blessed a week ago. Thanks to all our friends and family who came and supported us. ..Our little boy is getting so big
